Basingstoke Festival of Transport - Sunday 22nd August 2021

War Memorial Park.Basingstoke RG21 3AE

The festival has been running for years and always has had a historic tractor section but this
year will be the first where County has been represented. There will be a locally based restored non-cab 1124 on show alongside my gazebo which contains a display of old photos of the factory and people, among other County artefacts. There will also be a display of my County models on
a special unit made for me by our local Men’s Shed.

Longstock Rally, near Stockbridge - 11th & 12th September 2021

Danebury Road, Stockbridge SO20 6HZ

I will be having a much larger area to play with. In addition to my own display there will be
at least two Countys which are likely to be County Crawlers from Gary Rutter’s collection.
One of those is very historic as it was owned by a County employee himself and became a
bit of a mule in that it was used on his farm to trial new County inventions from the
Development Shop before they were fitted to production examples. Countys have been used at
the rally in the past but again this is the first time that they have had a specific County ‘stand’.
